Splendid piece of kit. Excellently packed for protection during delivery. Worked straight from the box, and was easily operated by my 88 year old Mum. Maybe the instructions are a bit over-elaborate, and a more diagrammatic summary for ease of starting up might be helpful for the older generation. That said, the picture quality is good, and you can see the photos clearly from a sensible angle range. I did not use the alternative coloured frames, but these undoubtedly will be appreciated by some people. I guess the cost of manufacture of the frames is pretty low, so Sony might as well offer them in the pack, and people with more artistic flair than I have will no doubt apply their own decoration. Overall, then, yes, I would recommend to a friend.

The Sony Digital frame is advertised that it comes WITH 3 interchangeable frames, however when i received it, it did NOT have any other frames, i am not happy about this as i bought it as a gift for a friend, and its not what i wanted, or as advertised!!!!
