Excellent only thing iI would only recommend limited use of this if you keep your dog kenneled outside as it removes a lot of undercoat great bit of kit though.

By far the best dog brush I have used. My dog hates being groomed and sheds hair by the roomful. This tool manages to root out a lot of the fine hair under the top coat easily without hurting him. Also allows me to keep his long ears in a more manageable state.

We bought this for our Alita who covers the entire house with fluff when he moults. We have tried other rakes, combs and brushes which only removed a small amount of loose fur. We were very sceptical about the furminator but decided to give it a gi due to it's glowing reviews and it did not disapoint. It removed loads of loose fur and left our hound looking a lot slimmer in the process! It means that we only have to groom him properly once a week and it lightens the load for our old Dyson. I would definitely recommend this product and have happily given it 5 stars. For some reason Ithink this review is showing as.a kids review which I can't alter - I am most definitely a fully fledged grown up!

My neighbour recommended getting one of these as she gets bags of fur off her retriever using it. I have a springer spaniel and he's always been somewhat of the shaggy variety, which we quite liked, and thought it was 'just him'. But now having wielded the furminator in his direction we have uncovered a new, sleeker more sophisticated hound, and he really seems to like being furminated - he half closes his eyes as if having a massage!
The Furminator seriously is in a different league to other dog groooming kit - I would say it's the dog grooming equivalent of a woman having her eyebrows threaded!! We love our new-and-improved sleek smart springer!
I first looked at Furminators in my local pet shop and I think the medium one cost literally more than twice the cost I paid on Amazon - a really fantastic bargain.
I've never reviewed anything online before but have no hesitation recommending this to people.
